Dynamic Loading Slideshow Help

Hi, first just wanted to say I'm using ActionScript 2 in FlashCS3.

Okay,

I have made a simple slideshow program that dynamically loads jpgs listed on an external txt file. It then plays them automatically from first to last on a delay.

My problem is I also want a prev and next button to automatically pause the slide show and then allow the user to go through the show one slide at a time at their own pace.

I have attached the code from the show. It also includes comments that should help explain my problem in more detail.

I believe that my main difficulty is that the function that loads my photos is directly linked to a function that automates the show (The problem location of code is identified in the attached document. It is inside the 'photoPreloader' function).

Please look at my code for more information. I'm sorry I can't do a better job explaining it here.
