Hi guys, just a quick 411.

I joined up a company and am doing graphics/web stuff for them. i started 3 weeks ago. They bought a imac 10.6 and bought new adobe software.

The old designer who designed the site use dflash, html, CMS and php.

Now, I am familiar with how to use flash and made a few portfolios, but this was a year ago or so! and relearning coding is almost impossible but doable.

Anyway heres my problem, Theyre asking me to update some stuff for the website, so the text for the news page and the info for the restaurants are easy, just go to the CMS panel and update accordingly. BUT how about stuff that needs to be edited in flash? is it as easy as exporting and uploading the SWF?

I tried this, and sure enough , it worked (ONLY IN SAFARI) it didnt update in FIREFOX. But when i opned it up in Safari, the text for the NEWS SECTION distorted somehow. everything else in the inner pages are fine.

Im thikning since this mac has a problem with fonts, that the system dint recognize it as arial and replaced it? I checked with othr work stations same problem though. How do i fix this? I cannot find the right style sheet or PHP code to change the font into arial narrow or something.
