Yeah, I don't know. Everyone is getting very jazzed up about a product that is really not meant to be one that's focused on 'mac users.' For the $600 price tag (give or take) it's a luxury item not a replacement for anything. I never bought a MB Air (though it made tons of sense for me to) as the price point was too much for what I'd use it for. I travel for work quite a bit and having something like this for the plane and remote office visits which could provide me with a decent sized screen for entertainment, light computing, email access, etc. it's a no brainer. I was talking to my doctor who is completely pumped about using something like this in the office as he has all kinds of iPhone connectivity to his office records and having the bigger screen real estate will be a huge win.

I get it (people being pissed off, that is) -- it can't be all things to all people, but I really don't think this product was something that was ever going to be targeted at the mac power user/graphics pro/mega coder set and that's really something that everyone is going to have to get used to. Apple cannot survive continuing to own less than 10% of the PC market. Products that appeal to a larger audience will only prove their longevity as a company.

The non-flash thing though...I couldn't agree with you more.
