I can write pages of what went on, but i will keep this short for now. I need some advice... and who better to turn to than a forum i've been on for 10 years+ under an anon.

anyways here it is and all hypothetically speaking:

a close friend is going to jail for a very long time.... he's left behind some valuable items (not stolen goods) and has told me i can do what i want with them. I am not comfortable keeping the money knowing where it came from.

should i:
a) leave the situation alone completely and not get involved
b) sell the items and donate the money
c) sell the items and keep it for safekeeping until he gets out

i dont think he really cares what i do with the money but i dont think he'd be too pleased if i donated it to charity
