Hello, I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong place, but this seemed the most logical sub-forum. Anyway, I'm sure many of you have noticed that if you're editing ActionScript and switch to another window (Alt+Tab) and switch back to Flash, the Actions panel no longer has focus. I didn't think it'd be that frustrating, initially, but holy hell is it becoming obnoxious! I've searched high and low for a solution to no avail. I don't know a lot about computer programming, but I've noticed when editing an .as file, this problem does not arise, probably because there's simply no other panel that can receive focus. This suggests to me that when working in an .fla file, something is being told to receive focus upon Flash receiving focus. It's clearly not an editable preference from within the IDE, but any of you geniuses out there know if the registry can be modified in some way to remedy this? Working on a laptop without an auxiliary mouse has pushed me to learning/relying on keyboard shortcuts, and this is literally the only thing I can't seem to do from the keyboard (save for pressing F9 twice, which is a nuisance all its own). Ideas? Thanks in advance!
