I see that koolmoves allows you to make an action that prints.. however the print dialog box pops up.. is there a way to make it print automatically to the default printer without the dialog box coming up?

It depends on the Browsers and the machine configuration. If the Web Browser is configured to print without popping the print dialouge then the program will. Without changing the settings on the persons machine there is no way.

what if I am using a projector, running it locally, not from a website?

Then the print command will not work. You need a third party add-on to make that work. Flash tools is a free 3'rd party add on to do this.
