    I want to make games in Flash, but never done any thing impressive yet beside a few chess application, shooting games. etc. So now I want to learn to be a pro.

    Is there any tutorial about platform and AI games out there?

    look at mad-sci's platform tutorial. it should only be a few pages back in this thread{games}. that is the most complete one i have seen.

    If you made a complete chess application, I wouldn't consider you an amateur, try making a clever chess game in Flash (with AI) and I think you're a pro!
