layering??

How do you go about layering the text in a single scene. Been playing around a bit and I've noticed that as you add text it doesn't drop down, rather places your new text ABOVE the previos text and effects. I thought this was simply a glitch and have been using the up/down arrows to rearrange it. Should I be leaving it alone?? Will this ensure that the new text on the same line will show over top of the old in that scene? Forgive my nievity please!

If you must use just one scene, and you want to position layered text in exactly the same position, use the timeline/effects to fade text in and out or use other transitions.

Check the demo files that come with SWiSH, or take a look at some of the examples shown in this forum. Open them in SWiSH to see the techniques used to create the movie(s). I'm sure no-one here would mind.
