This movie was not done in Swish.
There are very few of those effects that are possible in Swish.

For one thing, Swish doesn't support easing, which is present in most of the mermaid text fx. Besides that, most of the fx are done differently than Swish, though they have a superficial resemblance.

Look at the rotating "pros:"--Swish can rotate letters into place, but the center of rotation is always inside each letter. The "pros" letters spin around an outside center (and ease into place).

Then there's "I like to swim". Swish's Scale Characters effect is similar, but it doesn't do what mermaid and Balthaser do, where the letters zoom in toward a vanishing point. Other effects where letters "peel off" and fly away on motion paths are SO not Swish.

And finally, the movie is not "very pathetic". It took a lot of work and creativity, and the "idiotic" music is breathtaking, exquisitely suited to the animation.

And heaven forbid that a movie should loop without displaying a warning message. That's part of the genius of the piece--it takes you a while to realize that it's looping because you're so mesmerized.
