a vegan diet is easy, fast, nutritious, tasty, cheap, convenient, environmentally friendly, health-promoting, and kind
The site raises some important issues..I was almost sold until I saw them claiming a vegan diet is tasty

I think they just mean it as a joke. At the end of their little spill they give a link on how to save the whales too.

hey, i've been a vegetarian for 10 years, but could never go vegan (mmmmmmm, ice-cream). i stopped eating meat 'cause it is nasty (cooked meat and scabs are the same color for a reason). if animals don't want to be eaten, they should run faster

My best friend was a strict vegitarian for 4 years. We pulled him back over to the dark side though.

we live next to a nature preserve, and our cats are multi-generational outdoor cat's....needless to say, they hunt, kill, and eat MANY forms of meat - marsh rat, 3 types of lizards, frogs, snakes, several species of bird, insects, and small children. we just love our little killers

i thought vegetarians were all about "stop the killing"

do you promote this feline violence, maybe instead of a nature preserve, you could move next to a berry farm or something, i hear cats like to eat berries

Nah, I am a vegetarian, but I looovvveeee my leather couch, meat is just nasty and I don't like chewing on it, but hey,
nothing wrong with killing animals cuz thats what animals do

I just think that if you wanna eat something, you should kill it yourself and use all possible parts (native american style!!!)

I love fishing but I won't go if there's not somebody around to eat the fish...

LOL - stop the killing, please. we (humans) worked hard to get to the top of the food chain, and if animals don't want to be eaten/tested on/hunted then they should run faster! now, i would never harm an animal, but that's my choice right? i don't eat meat becuase it is NASTY, and our bodies DO NOT NEED IT...period!

our cat's do eat lettuce - i've heard that's pretty odd.

hey chelle - i noticed that we have very similar views on our vegetarianism. haven't you found that you are a minority in veggie circles? my skate shoes and belts have to made of leather, and i'm glad we send chimps into space before us. and i never try to persuade people to give up meat - although i like to point out to them that dried blood causes both scabs and cooked meat to appear brown....hee hee

Yeah, we do have similar views on that... pretty cool
I have found that with my views, on things, I am a minority in many circles including veggie

that's a good point I might have to use that one every now and then

Evidently our cats have similar views on the subject as well!
