I wrestled with this one too, and I think its a known bug, but there is a work around.
Publish your file as you normally would, and now go look at your HTML code that is produced. The sections that say...
PARAM NAME=bgcolor VALUE=#FFFFFF
EMBED src="jpc.swf" quality=high bgcolor=#FFFFFF
may be screwey. You need to input your own hex code for the two lines for it to work properly. For instance, if it originally says #FF2122, you may have to change it. I think what happens is SWISH transposes the numbers so their #FF2122 should really be #2221FF.
Does this make sense?
I've found this with lots of different shades of colors.
Hope this helps...

Hi, Sean and Jim,
You have to keep in mind that SWiSH was developed "Down Under" and, while those folks tend to be excellent programmers, things are somewhat different in that part of the world. When it's today in the U.S. and Canada it may be tomorrow in Australia, they spell some words differently, and what appears red to us may appear blue to them, and vice versa. Keeping that in mind, I think you may be able to correct the background color export problem from within SWiSH by using the RGB values and swapping the red and the blue values (leaving green the same).

New to Forum...!!...sorry if you've sorted this one already.
Some colours will not assign as the background eg. 239/23/189 (RGB) but default to a pale blue when I test in browser, or publish to html.
Am I doing something wrong...I do have the full paid up version of the program!!

Yep, we're in the future <LOL> We also drive on the "correct" side of the road, eat Vegemite and speak "English".
We may not have "The Bomb", but we have something far more insidious: Fosters.... our little attempt at world domination.
Resistance is futile - have a nice day!
