alrighty well im working on this new portfolio type site and was wondering what u guys think and if u had any suggestions and or improvements i could add. Mainly i need a suggestion for the buttons.

Well, except for the logo, there isn't much to see yet. I can say the background color doesn't match the logo-colors.
You also wanted some suggestions on the buttons but I don't see any buttons. Or are you asking that we give some suggestions on where to put them and how they should look like?
I think you should decide that for yourself. If we give some comment on this, it wouldn't be completely your design. You should make some buttons (fitting your feeling on how they should be) and then repost so we can give comment on what you've made.
