ok well im makeing a flash site for my biology teacher and i was wondering what would be the easiest way for him to update the class assignments. Since he is computer illiterate i was wondering if i should make a passworded part were he can add the assignments into a txt file and each day the txt file updates it self and loads onto the page. If thats a good idea is that possible and how would i do it.

Hi,

yes you can do this - you need to use Load Movie (point this at your text file) to load the variables into Flash - you need to use the URL encoded format in your file ie: varOne=whatever&varTwo=something.... etc etc.
