OK time for me to redo the page - this is what I ended up with - All Makes Vac & Sew

Tell me how to improve it....

[Updated] I changed the flash detect page to match the background colors, shrank the size of the buttons.... anything else anybody thinks I should work on? Or is it good-to-go...?

    VacMan,

Nice interface - just a few questions.

Before the main menu movie shows up I see a screen with a white background and text, but only for a second. Is this the only place where there is an address for you except in your copywrite statement? How do folks find you if they don't look there?

On the pages with the store log in the lower right, the logo covers up some text at small browser sizes.

The only feature that I did not particularly like was the (looks like Xara3D) 3D All Makes Vac and Sew header, and that is more a personal issue of not liking "pillow-like" text. On the same page the mouseover pop-ups (when mouse over the menu on the left) are a neat idea, but I wonder how many people will not realize what they need to do to see the whole text of the pop-up (for example if they click on the right hand end of a menu line they see only a part of the text - an interesting effect but may be confusing).

    Good job,

    Flick

Well that is the main index page that does the Flash redirect - otherwise the user is prompted to d/l Flash or click on the link to the html version of the site.

Yeah - I know, some day I'll fix that.....

That must be on the html pages - I did that about 2 years back in Ulead Cool 3D - I have plans to redo that as well..

    OK, that looks OK.
maybe change the BUTTON things, make them smaller or... i am not sure, maybe white outlines around the shapes.

Umm i suggest you should change the SPLASH PAGE, to match the actual new site, a grey back ground with the logo, woudl look cool!

that is all i have to say, but its a good look!

    PEACE

Actually I do agree on the size of the buttons - you know how it is in the editor - looked ok.. and I do agree about the splash page - maybe later tonight I'll fix that.
