Bob,
You've outdone yourself. That Bitmap Import thing, when I first heard about I thought now why do I need that, is Awsome. It is so time saving.
With that and the little text effects Library thing that Kool Moves can do to save repeating animations makes it the BEST layout tool I have ever seen to develope web pages in.
Everyone should buy a copy of your program.
[oops!! mispelled buy]

Well, it's certainly a necessity, I must say.
You want to have nice backgrounds, for your characters to animate on.
-
Couldn't you insert .bmps before? Why the change? Just curious. I haven't downloaded the latest beta, so i'm not clear on what is so unique about it.

Before there was only functionality for filling a shape with a bitmap. You create the shape and then fill it. That seemed to confuse people, so with almost no effort I reduced the steps to one. Soon, I HOPE, to have tiff, jpeg, png, and targa import and fill capability.
-
Yeah,
before this feature,I would spend literally hours scaling my shapes so that the bitmaps fit just right right. Now all I have to do is hit File>Import> Bitmap.
-
johnie I need your help with this. My program isn't acting any differently when I import a bitmap. What is this one step thing that eveyone is talking about. I feel like eveyones at a party and i'm not invited

In 1.55 Beta,
Go to file and then hit Import then hit BMP.
Kool Moves will size the Rectangle to the exact shape and size of your BMP for you instead of the Bitmap fill method which you have to play with so that it won't tile.
-
PS. all bitmaps are rectangles and don't support transparancies.
-
After importing you can edit points to the rectangle (add, move, delete).
