A newbie question...Can you copy and paste an already existing object with all of its keyframed movements? I tried copying a moving shape to "all frames" and the shape copies but not the movement.

Good question. I can't see an easy way to do it. A way that will definitely work is to make a copy of the fun file in Windows. Remove all shapes except the ones you want to keep in the copied movie. Insert the copied movie into the original movie (it is a command under File). I can see how this would be useful functionality. With movie clip capability available in about a month, this will be easy if the copy is the same except for positioning.

Another approach is to make a swf with the shapes you want copied. Import the swf as a object whereever you want a copy.

I've been doing it that way also- Except I am using the handy dandy paste frame to file command and my trusty control key. I highlight the frames that the animation is in, then paste to file- Then I open The pasted File and remove the excess shapes. I then either keep it as a FUN file or export as a SWF and import it as a clip. Once internal; clips are included it will make life easier as saving to file and then importing if I so desire would not be required.
