Hi Neo, if you are using pixel fonts you do have to follow the instructions. Ie they must be a certain size, they must be aligned left, they must be centered top left and if not in a sprite they must be ona whole number x and y.

This link is to an explanation for Arial 11

If your using Orgdot there are similar instructions for them at the site.

heres a quick tut. link based on Arial 11.

There are links to orgdot and miniml on the last page.

    neodesert,

you're talking about pixelfonts (aliasfonts, bitmapfonts).

it's a bit tricky to position aliasfonts correctly. first of all you need to choose the right size, a font designed for 8 pixel will blur at any other size (except for 16,24 etc.)
in swish, type some text, choose font and size, and then, under the transform tab, set the alignment point to top left.

position the text at even coordinates, so avoid using x=12.6 y=9.2 etc.

here are some links for download:
    http://www.04.jp.org or
    http://www.orgdot.com/aliasfonts/

craig kroeger has reduced his collection of aliasfonts down to 3 free fonts, you'll now have to pay for the rest:

also do a google search on "pixelfonts"
