Why does my music judder?

Hello,

I have created a flash movie with interactive buttons that can take the user into new sections/swf's. But, sometimes, upon entering a new section, after clicking to get into it, the background music judders!? And, then on other occasions it works perfectly! What is causing the music to judder?

Well, cobbgab (in 'poor quality on exported sound' thread), has described his sound as choppy. Perhaps 'choppy' is a better word for it. But, i have tried reducing the quality and still, on a 4 speed CD rom drive my movie plays choppy.
