    The site is tied in 100 different ways to the cgi scripts. Tommy pointed this out yesterday in another thread. We all want to upgrade, the topic comes up weekly in our emails. But there's so much integration that it's a huge task, and it's going to take a while.

    Yeah, we have some scripts tied in as well (not nearly as many as you do though), and it took a while to prep the site for upgrading. It can be very tricky.

    what type of fucntionallity is included in those tie-ins? I am just curious.

    MyFK is the biggest one. It authenticates using the board's DB. So there's a lot of code tracing that has to be done first. In the versions after 1.1.3 there was a big change in the database layout.

    Any idea on how meany members actually use the MyFK features? I know when i joined 12 months ago i added a few things to my 'MyFK' but i stopped using it after about a month. I doesnt seem to do much that a browser and bookmarks can't do a lot quicker.

    anyone who uses flashtyper uses myfk for fonts and effects, I use it to store threads I want to keep handy, outside of that, dunno

    I use myFK regularly and have done for a long time. It is a very special feature and I would hate to see it go.
    If it did go,I would like a lot of notice so that I can move the contents elsewhere.
