Hmm, I thought I read somewhere that in Flash MX you could place a graphic clip within another graphic clip and have it's timeline loop (so that you have one graphic clip playing within another). However, that doesn't seem to be the case as far as I can see. Am I missing something, or did I just misread my orginial information?
PS: The reason I want to be able to use a graphic clip within a graphic clip and not just use a movie clip is because I put many of my toons out to video and, of course, movie clips are useless when you output to an image or video format.
Thanks guys,

HELP>>>ACTIONSCRIPT DICTIONARY
Does the graphic symbol that is the container have an equal or greater number of frames than the graphic symbol it is containing?
Graphic clips are tied to the timeline of their containers.
If you have a 5 frame movieclip sitting on the _root, the _root must have at least 5 frames or any multiple of 5 if you don't want the graphic clip to skip frames.
The same holds true for a 5 frame graphic clip inside of another graphic clip. The container must have at least 5 frames or some multiple of 5 thereof.
The other thing to look at is in the properties window, you need to set your graphic clip to loop, which isn't the default any longer. The default in MX is single frame 1.
Good Luck!

Yeah, I do have enough frames in every subsequent clip that the deepest movie clip is nested in, and they are all set to loop. Just doesn't seem to play insidea graphic clip though...
