    I think there is only Flash Player 4 available for mobile devices, but the book probably explained the templates Flash MX does have for outputting content for Pocket PC.

    I also read here:

    that there is a Flash 5 player for Cassiopeia PDAs, although I could see nothing to indicate whether or not full Actionscript is supported.

    I'm assuming you mean the player and not the authoring app.......... as far as I know the mx player is availble for the nokia phones that can handle it. The other manufacturers are working on them. Not sure about PDA's tho.
