    Good work

I liked the design of your site, I have some comments though

    - 197kb for the initial movie is too large for dial up. Your should carry some kind of health warning for the dial up user, before they start the preloader.

    - Black on gray text, as you have used on occassion is hard to read, consider a using a color with a great contrast

    - Mnimal fonts are great, but not if you are reading a block of text and not white on a dark background. Although the text is still clear it is hard on the eyes to read multiple lines of small text. Consider restricting Mnimal fonts to one liners, menu options or if you have to use it for block text, using black on a light color.

    - The menu buttons quickly faded out. It was not intuitive that they were there. Alpha them down, but not all they way out. It was by luck that I found them later

    - The quit on the torchlight should be an option always available, not disabled until you have completed the exercise.

    - Transitions on portfolio are a little long. Waiting while the screen assembles works well if there is entertainment value, but watching like gray boxes dropping, in my opinion does not qualify as entertainment.

In summary a good site that is well designed, but need to be broken up into smaller swf's and have easier navigation and readability.

Swedish tiger thanx for the comments...
I had just begun 2 realise that people had not been getting access past the 1st page (about the company) but I thought that flashkit users were the kind of people who would easily solve small mysteries..i will add a an alpha'd out menu text or something.

Its a shame because there is lots of hidden content which will probably not b seen.. 4 example..the main buttons are of a smart vareity which not only know that they have been clicked(try clicking twice)but will actually tell you that you r already on that page.

I will try 2 change the contrasting text & colours as you suggest..but I really thought it was clear.

as for the file size..well..i would be amazed if there is another web-site out there that has as much content as this for a size of 197k..there is only 1 loading & if i loaded it seperately there would b 8 waits(all be it small 1s)

But again many thanx 4 everybodies comments.

Thank you for responding to my comments

Thank you for responding to my comments. I have no doubt that there are few sites that deliver as much content for 197kb, judicious use of AS has helped you. I have found, when in the world of fussy clients that the get very ticked off having to wait for sites. More so if their brother, mother or janitor, after loading it up on dial up, calls them and tells them that the site took over a minute to load or they gave up waiting. I appreciate your sentiment. I still believe that you should break your site up. Consider loading content that is not visible first off, in the background. This does not help with menu options but could help with secondary scenes within the menu options.

It's just that I have been there, and unless you are targeting a US audience who are in the e-business (marketing, software houses etc) then you should design around dial up.

i am on a T1 and that site took forever to load especially for only 197 kb, are you sure that's correct info?

its a well designed site, but i personally do not like the usability, i like to know what i am clicking i hate to have to rollover somehting to know what it is before i click it

    but overall, well done

yes ... very nice .... but text is a bit hard to read in parts (dark on dark) ... text scrollers could be slicker

    nice loops / colours

    waiting....waiting .....waiting.....

Ah there it is. A painfully long loading time could be a crippling blow to any website. One solution would be to load each section after the user clicks on it, rather than all at once at the very beginning. That way, the user will be fooled and think that everything is loading fast. HA HA HAAA, SILLY USER!!! (ahem)

Also, I dig the Mon Ami sound loop.
