In a cavern, in a canyon,
Excavating for a mine,
Dwelt a miner, forty-niner
And his daughter Clementine.
Oh my darling, Clementine
Wow ... a tornado hit Happy, TX today ... the news said it was something the size of 3 football fields (300 yards wide). It's virtually destroyed about all the town.

Godspeed in their recovery ... a prayer goes out to all of 'em

clicking the link - I always find it odd to read bad news and seeing the happy faces of the announcers/moderators - just doesn't seem fit right I don't know.

With a name like Happy, you're asking for trouble!

Not to make light of tragedy, I'm laughing at the scenario, not the people or incident involved.

I saw the film Happy Texas but didn't think it actually existed! I've not been in a tornado thankfully, we did have a number of typhoons hit when I used to live in Hong Kong which was pretty scary, actually had the eye of the typhoon pass over us and the calm is very unnerving!
