stop action

okay guys, i'm sure you can help me out here. In a MC i have a stop action on frame 5. In this same frame i got several other MCs that have to start playing but they don't because of the stop action at frame 5. I want the first MC to stay at frame 5 and all the other MCs inside it to play. HOW CAN I MAKE IT WORK??

If I understand you correctly, all you have to do is tell the other clips to play like so:

clipname.play();

If not, tell me some more info.
