Okay - I know it's not the desert, but dang man, I live in TX ... it's been known to be hot here a day or two (but ours is a humid heat ... so it's not the heat ... it's the humidity )

Thanks for that link, too ... we're still in the looking stage .... we're looking at that one - and some joint called Boulders or some such ... and some Kohler place in Wisconsin ...

Texas is a republic, that can be split into four(or 5) different states. Its in the texas legal papers. That is why it is so important that texas stays in the hands of consvatives.

I'm so bored, I'd mow our lawn if we had a lawn mower

Austin sucks - man, you ever been there? I can't stand Austin! *yuck!*

Dallas on the other hand ... I can cope

Austin: no haven't, going on word of mouth (translation: talking out of my rear as usual)

Dallas been there. not pretty, brown, dead.... smoggy....

I don't see how any area of land landlocked can justify its worth

California's Central Coast, Big Sur, San Luis Obispo, maybe even Santa Cruz if you get too relaxed

Ahhh ... Well, be sure and go down San Antonio while you're there (it's about an hour from Austin) ... and the Austin thing, well - I just don't like that place - It was just ... I don't know - dirty, I think.

Dallas - well - I do live there, sort of ... I live on the outskirts - an area that isn't really 'landlocked' - but almost an island (looking at map) ... Not so smoggy, friendly, clean

    Angry

I've always wanted to go to Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Around there. I'd take mountains and rivers over deserts and beaches aside from Moab.

    Goto Moab:

There's alot to do there, like mountain biking, hiking, and rafting. And its alot prettier than the pictures, they don't do the place justice.
