I was getting an “unexpected file format” error message, so I did the update on my swish, but it changed a few items, and now when I add text over an image. I can’t seem to get a solid color , I can only get a sorta faded out color , tried converting to shapes and grouping as shapes and going to a gradient or radiant fill , although it’s a bit better , just can’t seem to get a solid color , is their any suggestion , or maybe just something simple I’m missing?

    Thanks for any input.

have a look at the alpha settings of the text.

are they set to less than 100%?

Sometimes mine seem to revert back to 39%. I think it has been discussed but can't remember what was said exactly.

On your colour selection options box you have
    R G B A

Make sure the % in A is set at 100%

    The A stands for ALPHA
