    pop ups, maximizing, auto-closing -- oh my!!

    having huuuuuuge frustrations with this.

    here's the scenario:

    the client wants a pop up flash animation advertisement, which i made (and will pop up from other 3rd party sites that i have no control over).

    from this pop-up flash ad, the client wants one of two things:

    to load up their website when you click on the animation (at any point)
    OR
    to load up their website automatically when the animation is complete

    either way, when the web site loads up, they want it to load in a maximized (NOT full screen) window -- AND to have the pop up ad window to close.

    ..phew..

    oh yeah -- lets make matters worse! -- using as retro-active a flash as possible (preferably v4 technology - dont bother with earlier to that).

    ok, start your yelling!

    To be honest, Tell your boss that you NEED v5+ as it has the commands you need etc.

    I have never heard of a javascript argument within the window.open command that allows it to be maximised.
