    Ok, here's the situation:

My iBook doesn't have a CD burner so I downloaded some files for my mac to my PC. However, the files were originally created (compressed maybe) using Toast, which isn't available on the PC. Does anyone know of anyway to burn these files to a CD on a PC for use on a mac?

So you want to burn them to a cd, hmm, I know the iso 9660 format will read on a mac, and if on your mac you can uncompress it right off the cd, which will mount a drive. I guess thats what you mean, it works, i've done it many times. Let me know if you run into any problems.

Or are you talking about .bin images?

There's a bit of confusion about.bin files, on the one hand they can be binary encoded files created to protect mac files on the internet, on the other hand they can be cd image files to burn.
If it's an image file the pc should be able to burn it, as i think its the extension for an iso disk image...if it is an encoded file, you can burn it to an iso cd and it will be fine to open on a mac...geddit?

Read the FAQ thread (not the announcement, it's not up to date) for more info on burning cds for macs on pcs and visa versa

    Easy CD Creator?

Roxio makes Easy CD creator for PC... maybe that can open Toast files... I'd check with Roxio's website or tech support...
