    I've been wondering and hopefuly someone knows why, but how in the world does Detroit always lose the first couple games of a series and come back to win? God I hate them.

    Ahhhh, my friend, its called Fedorov + Larionov + Yzerman + Robitaille + Shanahan + Hull + Chelios + Lidstrom + Hasek (and the rest of the team who I'm sure all names are familiar to you as well) = Wins in the Playoffs

    OOoooohh baby! Talk about upsets! Carolina is going to be playing the major underdog (8th seeded) Canadiens..What a series, dirty hit by Mclaren on Zednick, which imho merited more than a suspension that ended up being on two games. Next, in the game last night which Mon. won, PJ Stock was getting dirty with Koivu...sooo uncalled for. But, what's done is done, Montreal won (heh, that rhymed), and now we got MON-CAR and OTT- NYI/TOR (whoever wins tonight).

    In the West, very predictable matchups of DET-STL, and SJ-COL. I think DET will roll over STL, and it'd be awesome to see COL win, and have a DET-COL conf. final, however I'd also like to see SJ win, 'cuz they're soo great they play tonight...i'll be watching......that's all for now, we'll see what the future holds....

    Series over...Avs win last game 1-0, Roy was unstoppable besides for a wraparound that Selanne had and MISSED! I was almost crying.. Oh well, Nabby did play well though.


    But yea moving on...Wings-Avs Conference Final..you can't beat that!! Satuday at 3:00, don't miss it...it should be a battle; Wings in 7

    Time to wake up this thread. And what do you know...my prediction was correct ^^

    Anyway, Detroit wins, takes a 3-1 series lead on the 'Canes. I saw a sign (held by a Hurricanes fan) that read: "Ya'll come back for game 6!"

    Great sign, but wishful thinking I'm afraid

    Although with no Canadian teams in the running, I find it hard to care.
