    Thanks,

I am really digging this new clean look. I must admit that I got the idea to do it when I got my new apple Ipod. That little machine as given me so many ideas. It rocks.

    Cheers,

    Hi imaginerstudios:

I only visited the highbandwidth site, even though I am on a 56k dialup:

Many of your images are overly compressed. I don't understand the reason for this, especially on the high bandwidth site. Your splash screen probably contains the worst offenders.

The "let's rock and roll" enter screen is unnecessary. After the movie loads, why not just forward the viewer to the main page?

Two of the links in your portfolio don't work (Greenday and Computer Gaming World). Also, when you click on AudiNutz, the music stops, unlike when clicking on 3DX. Moreover, if you click on AudioNutz, then click on the link to your web site from the AudioNutz popup, it reloads your site in it's own (same) window.

You apparently have no backend, i.e., a contact form. I suggest getting one. In my opinion, relying on email clients (apps) is not a wise business practice. And since you mention the backend in your "services" section, you should at least have a simple contact form.

The sound track transitions, from one section to another, are too abrupt. Try fading one out and the other one in.

Check your spelling, grammar, and syntax (unlike this post). I didn't nitpick everything, but some obvious mistakes, like, "tommorrows," stand out like a sore thumb. It should read, "tomorrow's."

I'm not an expert on the language, but here is what I suggest:

What do (does this, not does these, do these) The Matrix, Final Fantasy, Star Wars 2, and Imaginer Studios have in common? They all employ cutting-edge (hyphenated) technologies (technology, collective, if they all employ the same technology, you decide), (comma) such as, (comma) After Effects, Maya, and SoftImage, to name a few, (comma) in order to create the most sophisticated special effects available today.

I also think that there are a better words choices available, like, "Powerful backend architecture," vice, "Powerful backend structure," etc.

A "mute" button would also come in real handy.

Overall, I think it is a nice site, it just needs a little polish here and there. Great job.

    Thanks for the pointers

I will get to work on them right away.

I can't do everything you said, I have only been using flash for a few months now. still learning the basics of actionscripting.

    Hi imaginerstudios:

Ultimately, you will want the site to reflect your own skills and preferences (tastes). I simply made suggestions based upon my experience, skills, and preferences. So, just do what you feel needs doing. In my view, the site is very good, but it does need a bit of tweaking, to give it a more professional, polished look and feel.

    Best Regards,

    James

    Nice site

James has pretty well covered it.
Your abilities are 3D. Do ask a "professional" to proof read your words and sentence structures. It will pay off.

Im not sure why the music needs to skip on each menu choice but I found it annoying and wonder if the music can be a seperate "movie" thats either playing or not playing.

Take the time to polish the site, its worth it.

i'm gonna try not to restate too much here, but i like it when i decide to launch the high-bandwidth site, i don't have to click again to begin the site. it should seem that i'm inherently agreeing to begin the site when i clicked on the high bandwidth side, let alone me waiting for it to load. just go right in.

i do think that you should stick with one loop instead of one per section.

good to hear another mac user's on board...

visually... pretty cool, but you know what I really love about the site? It's the vocal navigation cue, as well as the ambiance of home and transition into portfolio(aurily sp?.) that is. I can't remember what the first link in the menu was for, but I really hate that loop. Feels like a transition that never resolves, kinda creepy to my ear.

little polish and it will be something to write home about.

    very, very nice

why opt for a pop-up window though? That can all be done in a nice, 800x600 web browser space

    Picture frame on the wall

For the same reason that I put my paintings in a picture frame instead of just painting on the wall

    very nice.
nice 3d pics, nice effects and also clean.
i like the idea to have different sounds for different sections, but as said b4 its too abrupt and the sounds are are bit too loud in relation to the soft background loop. (take a look at my free soundfader, maybe it helps)
there's a little "click" in the background loop.

sorry real abode, never saw you there

I used Maya and 3d Studio max to make the models.
Now if you are refering to the goodies page, I made them with 3d studio max and some photoshop.
The one who inspires me for my graphics is my sweedish friend Jens Karlson. You can check him out at http://www.chapter3.net and see his amazing art work. You can also check out his section in the New Masters of Photoshop book by Friedns of ED.

    resolved Edges

I don't really have a comment on the site other than reiterating the one about watching your spelling and punctuation. That and you may want to increase the tesselation of your models before you render them because you can definitely catch unclean edges when you're compositing them on that white background. That's all.
