text button question

I should really know this by now but am baffled by the little things...

you have a button that is strictly text, what do you have to do to it so that the hot points or sensitive points on it also include in between the letters and holes in the letters. what I am trying to explain is how do you make it so that the entire part of the word can be clicke on...

You need to draw a shape into the HIT keyframe of the button. The shape should be the size of your text.
