ok in their website they said when u edit an object in Plasma, it will update the symbols in Flash library... does that mean the 3D animation won't bejust a multiple keyframes like when u do it with Swift3D??? that will optimise it a whole lot...

also i saw in Discreet's Plasma page that bunny example... that looks real good, would i be able to create the more organic object INSIDE plasma itself or do i still have to import it from progs like 3DS ??

From what I got by reading (Yes, MarkP, reading) the description of this board it says it's a 3D program.

Now it more like Max 3.1 on steriods for the web. It lets you create your models with bones etc. Its has both forward and Inverse Kinetics so now you can do true character development.

yes organic shapes are easier to do in this program. The tools are extreamly extensive and I am working on a comprehensive overview and review of the product. I hope to have time to finish it this next week.

But the program is a boon for those entering into the world of web 3D. Regards, Bill

WOW that's awesome... a real 3D animation prog for the web... and like u said i can have it in raster format as well? how's the raster part compare to other raster 3D prog like 3DS MAX or Maya??

oh about plasma output... the SWF and SWFv for flash libabry... how do they differ from each other? the SWF output would probably like Swift3D which mean u only have multiple keyframes when u import it, which translate to bigger file size... but what about the SWFv? would they have some similar animation like TWEEN in Flash which will make the size a lot smaller?

hehehe sorry if im nagging u Bill

yes, it outputs to bitmap as well... it has a built-in scanline renderer. seems to be of the same quality of 3ds MAX normal renderer.

lower left... flash or bitmap as a choice.

That dialog box looks like a direct rip of the 3dsMAX one. sue, sue!!!

chrisvo69er, besides your incessant spamming, you fail to notice.. discreet makes 3DS Max and Plasma.

stop spamming. I will delete your one sentence posts. contribute something. it's real annoying.
