    hey whats goin on doods?

    i got a quick question before i screw myself here. i am trying to merge two partations on my hard drive since the c: is almost used up and have like tiny bit of free space. i am gonna do this using partation magic. has anyone done this before? if so was is successfull and not screwed you back? alright cool... thanks.

    I don't use Partition Magic - never quite done what it says it's going to --- I've heard from both sides on this issue - half the people I know use it successfully - the other half don't and are too pissed off to talk about it

    True, but sometimes it is not practical to drop everything and repartition your hd.

    a partition is a beginning and an end to an alloted area of space on ur hd, that has information about that space. ie clusters, kb .. etc. it is nearly impossible to merge them w/out losing data. i would recommend go buying an 80gb hdd from office depot, copying everything to it.. formatting ur current hdd. merging the partitions. bring all ur data back over.. and returning the hdd.

    yea, only use partition magic for when u create the partitions.

    Why do you say that.. I've done it successfully.
