I'm about 2/3 done and would like some feedback on my new freelance/business site:

    http://www.c2idesign.com/

Since I'm still working on two of the major interactive areas of the site, Comments about layout/design would be especially appreciated.

    Thanks for any help,
    -monster.

    Known issues:

NS 4.x and Opera 5 will choke on the layout. That's what I'm currently working on. This is almost done, but isn't posted yet.

Portfolio: Still on the drawing board. Can't decide if it will be Flash or HTML based (or both if I have time).

News & Info.: Also still in the works. This will be a database/ASP driven page to facilitate new entries as well as searches/custom sorting as well as to give me the practice doing it.

    Hi, just a few suggestions:

the color scheme looks a bit dull to me, maybe use something fresher.
I like the capital letters next to the navigation-buttons, but you should also make them links too, the first thing I tried was to click them instead of the text.
Maybe the sub-menu's would be better if they were next to the content, people might be confused when they click a link in the content to go to a subsection, and then have to use another submenu at the top off the site. A clearer submenu would make the navigation more transparent.

Otherwise great job, hope my comments helped!

i agree with the comment about the secondary nav - but i actually like the colors you've chosen...

nice work all around... but feels a little empty... maybe it's cause you're still working...

    =D

    Jeantje -
Box letters - I was planning to make those links, guess it got lost in the shuffle. Thanks for reminding me.
Colors - I chose that scheme partly because I'm trying to ride the fence between "cool" and "corporate". Also because I just like those colors for some reason. Thanks for the input, though. Depending what others say, I may change them.
Submenu - That was a big concern of mine. Incredibly enough, you are actually the first person to say that (I've had a lot of friends/family look at it as well). I thought that would be one of the first things I heard. I may still change it though, as it's starting to bug me.

    krupky -
Yup, still working on the content. That's the basics of what it will be, but I'm trying to flesh it out more.

    Tarzan -
    Thanks for the ego boost!

Thanks to all for your input,
    -monster.

uhmmm, looks good, very profesional and yet plain... but that's my personal tastes

as for merit you should make every page the same dimensions and use load movie leve 0 instead of load html.. it would flow better instead of clicking through html pages.

a site in the works i'm doing at http://www.creativevillage.co.uk has what i'm talking about

i like the images in the corner, very trendy.

colours good and so is nav, just menu transiistion a bit off.

Good Job! The site looks very profesional. I think you should add a small looping graphic next to the logo in that area

    Great Job.
