i did a search, and there seems to be a decent amount of free programs that take EPS files and put them into PDFs
, although i havent tried them because i have no eps nor need to make pdfs.

other than that, there seems to be a lot of source code for outputting pdfs, but again that might not be too helpful.

maybe you could get a trial of acrobat ?

any reason you actually need it to be PDF? why not just a .DOC or a .RTF ?

I found one that transforms Microsoft Word files into PDF, that might be ok I guess. I am just interested in PDF format, never used it.

Here's an exact link to it so you don't have to go through the trouble of finding it:

HTML Doc is free also but it converts HTML and TXT into PDF. You could export to HTML and pray that the terrible code from Word doesn't muck it up to badly...

    http://www.easysw.com/htmldoc/

Or then again just about every Office Suite exports to PDF except MS Office.

    You can get one that reads MS Office docs and then Exports PDF offices that I know export PDF;

    602 PC Office Suite - WIth $20 print Plug-in
    Gobe Office
    Star Office
    WP Office
    Open Office (Free)
Easy Office 123 (Free for home uses)

    - Hmmm... If all these guys could toss in a PDF export option you would think the Largest Software company in the World could be bothered to add one- not to mention Office is much more expensive (Nearly 2 times as expensive) than WP Office, Lotus Smart Suite, 602 PC Office Suite, Star Office, Open Office, Easy Office, ETC.

This is also an Option (Its addWare):

Finally you can set up a printer driver that prints Directly to Postscript and convert with Gohstview for any device you have...

The instructions to do this is here (Walk through for MS Windows 2K)
