overall, I liked it. Very nice music loop selections, nice roll-over animations and transitions. The cool-blue color scheme is easy on the eyes and everything was readable to me. Good artwork too.

The only thing I would personally try is not framing your site in a box. Get rid of those side borders and let the white background stretch to the left and right for a letterbox feel. IMHO, but i'm a big letterbox fanatic

Ettan, your site is very nice! I definitely like it! As vurtartist wrote you have nice sounds there, animations and transitions. I must agree with him.
Maybe the text box could be larger - this is the only thing that I would change.

Ettan,
had some major problems viewing your site in Netscape 4.79 on a Mac. Font kerning had gone crazy (was this intentional?).

Generally I think you need to calm the whole site down a bit. It shows that you can do lots of "flash tricks" but in terms of design is very hard to understand with so many bells and whistles all going off at once.

Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should. Ask your self "what does that achieve?" about each element. If the answer is only "looks good" then get rid of it.

You should create something that shows off what you can do not hides it.

Really liked the image on the home page - you obviously have some p-shop skillz.

Liked the layout pretty well, although I agree on the letterbox thing. Also you might centralize your navigation a little more.
The visual details are excellent. the small text in the center (I am supposing it is for 800X600 users or something) is tiny. But the rest is great.

immm yes i quite like it. I don't like the blue border around the site, maybe you should make it look as if the site is sitting out abit from the page, maybe adding a light shaddow will help. Needs a music mute button, that music drove me crazy! i like your graphic design, v.nice indeed. The navigation is not very use-friendly. Maybe you should have text appearing underneath the nav to let people know what it is they are clicking on. I liked the wee animations each played on roll-over, but i dont like having to watch them over and over again. Everything else is good, keep up the work

had a look through the site and as a static page it is very nice - as are elements of the motion graphics - however, a peice of interactive work it is lacking in a few areas.

Is the site meant to be a portfolio - or a personal site? If it is a portfolio then why is there so little work in it? Also, much of the animation seems to be merely flashturbation that gets in the way ofthe usabilty of the site somewhat. It also suffers from "mystery meat" syndrome (ie lableless buttons - no icons - no text - just abstract shapes - it would help greatly to know what buttons do before you go iver them - this is a fundamental rule of interactive design)

There is also too much text that does nothing hanging around... and a lot of things that look like button, but aren't...

There is also a vast amount of "wasted page" as someone pointed out further up the forum - the useful content occupies a tiny area in the bottom left... There is also a hell of a lot of animation going on to distract.

Also, a small point, the text is not antialiased the whole way through... just a small thing. Nice scroll bars, tho.

Also, the roll over with the happy smiley face guy with the bit that says design in Brush Script, (the Neighbours typeface!) is really bad :-) dunno if this is some sort of joke!

Despite all of this negativity - your site looks good - nice use of colour which allows fair readability, a nice spread colours from a simiar tonal range.

but, it doesn't appear to have been designed with any kind of usability in mind. It reminds me a bit of a site some peeps i know did - http://www.mackdaddys.com - this site looks great - but it's almost impossible to use!
I thin k the main image would make a lot more sense on a printed page than on a website - and, as i mentioned earlier -it's there the whole way through, but does bugger all... you need to consider the medium more. Web design is a lot ore than making nice looking sites.

Also, i know music is important to you - but you really really need a music off button. you may like the music, but plenty of people won't - particulary people in an office environment. I personally find this kind of elevator music annoying, but that's just me

Best of luck - don't mean to be harsh - just saying' it like i see it (which is wot you did to mine!)

The site is top notch. Hi tech and great animation to fine detail. I like the blend of blue being used because it is Visually appealing and soft on the eye. The rollovers are great and the sparkles from the eye and lips are a nice touch. You have obeyed the rules and kept it simplistic but yet complex if u know what i mean. Some more content and links would be nice and the text box should be slighly bigger. Try some other font to put the icing on d cake.

Over all its WICKED :--)

Very nice design overall. I commend you for using such basic but enticing music tracks.

My suggestion would be to increase the ease of use by adding more text or something to the navigation. It took me a while to figure out where everything was on the page and most people go for simplicity first. Just my 2 pennies.

Oh and your intro screen animation is a plus too.
