Please take a look at my personal site. Due to my limited flash skills this sadly represents about 60 hours of work, and it couldnt have been done without the generous help of people posting open .fla's for people like me to learn from.

Your splash is nice, i'd loose the site requirements thing.. never liked those.

Your menus on the navigation the sub categories folder should remain open like the headings.

That forum also looks like thre's two sites and yours is a pop-up... looks good though.

few things,

-turn up you framerate.
also lots of contineous animation and tweening gets the speed down.

-and expand abit on the loader, create some more intervals because i only saw 14% and 28%...

Nice honest design, I like it. Nothing wrong I could spot really, agree with Hiperion's comments. Only other thing, found that Forum popup rather annoying.

Ok I wasnt sure about the forum pop up, thanks for the input Ill also try bumping the framerate up today if that bogs my pc too much then Ill try removing a tween.

yes, lose the popup to the forum. also, you are linking directly to the .swf file.. if i remember right, i heard there might be a problem with that? i'm not sure. your preloader did not work for me. I saw a white screen for about a minute and then all of a sudden 100% flashed on my screen and then the rest of the site. You do have some excessive animation going on so it does slow down the site quite a bit. I would also give credit to the open source fla's you used as i recognize some of them. preloading your pictures also didnt' seem to work. i saw 40% right away and it never changed.. i didnt' wait for the loading to finish but it did show 40% for quite awhile..

The design was alright...but the loading fustrated me because it took too long...i'm on cable so it shouldn't really be taking so long.
On more thing...i live in London and ur clock at the bottom was wrong, seems to be an hour slow..says its 4:09 right now and its actually 5:09 here.(like its already on daylight savings time or soemthing, but that doesnt happen till winter)

Thanks again for all the great feedback. Ill try to get to these suggestions this weekend. Ideally I would prefer to link to an embed instead of the .swf but I cant find the code or get the file to export from flash in an embed that does not have a boarder of any sort. Even when I play with the settings I still get a small boarder on the upper right and left sides. Ill also make the forum link from the site, I liked the idea of forwarding to it in theory because I want to make it availible to people but I really dont wanna force it on anyone. Ill take that out I guess it does come across that way.

If anyone has a link etc for the 800x600 html embed code that would be great
