  1. #1
i have music files that i would like to add to my movie. however, they need to be edited a little, such as made shorter or longer and also i am going to add a thunder noise to coincide with the lightning animation so i need to cut the thunder and time the bangs right. do i have to use a music tool to do or is it possible in flash (i got flash 5 btw) are there any good freeware or shareware tools that could help me - barry

    Smile ok

in flash you can only make some FX with your sound, like make the sound go from left to right, etc, check the sound properties pushing the edit button, you´ll see a couple of options. The other thing you can do is lower the quality of your sound taking down the KHZ, see the sound properties in your library. I recommend you for mayor editing using a software like SONICFOUNDRY´S (SOUNDFORGE6). go here for more information, the software is realy easy to use. Excuse me for bad english, i don´t speak it very well. ok go here and see.
