oh my god, runes_tooth... are you cutting the sprites with flash directly?
do you know, with photoshop you can cut it with one click with more than a perfect precision? (one click because the background of hiei = one and only color)...
i thought you owned a programm like photoshop... sorry, i didn't want you to work so much...
about the organisation, it's almost the same thing, but it's ok like this.
i have that organisation: MC1= all ryu sprites. MC2 = within MC1, = all ryu's positions...).
runes_tooth, i really don't want you to rip graphics like that, it'll take you way too much time (i don't want to take all your free time), and the result of cutting gifs directly in flash aren't very good...
well, i don't want to ruin your work too... i'm a little bit confused now... emmmhh... do you have suggestions?

No I'm not ripping them from flash directly. How do I get the extra stuff around the person to go away?

that's what i talked about. to cut all the stuff around hiei, you can do it in one click with photoshop. don't do it with flash, it does weird things, i mean it is not very precise...
but i suppose you don't have photoshop... well, i don't really know PC-world, so i don't know specific progs that will cut sprites in a fast way. (anyway, i can cut the graphics for you... i mean for me in no time ^^)
look for progs here: http://www.versiontracker.com
these are all official products, i mean i'm not going to post a piracy link. then you'll find all progs you are looking for: shareware, freeware, commercial demos...

...really? and that app is working? wow
about photoshop, i used it since version 5, but yes you can use any version in my opinion... that way you'll can cut the sprites, separate them from the background more or less easily... isn't it a little prog that extract sprites from roms directly? i think i saw something like that on the site i posted several posts ago... if it can help you...
listen, i'll try to rip sounds by myself...
in case you still want to rip sound (and if the app works great), then tell me. thanks...

F# A# oo
i know w/ most emulators you can disable layers .. well, lets say you were using ZSNES (if this is a little to close to not being under the FK rules, inform me or delete this), you could disable all but the moving sprite layer (usually the last layer), and hit f1. this would give you a menu on incrementing the animation frame by frame, and taking a screenshot, or both. so you capture a whole sequence, bring it into photoshop, use the magic wand to remove edges, and export.. dunno how you guys were doing it but this way works pretty well, especially for solid object such as character.

Well, if you own the game in real life, it's ok to emulate it.

thanks for the link ^^
about your second question' i'm not sure if i understood well: you mean you want to put my game on your site?
Ian424
that's the way i do it. btw i'm using snes9x, since it's the only snes emulator for mac. but i think the frame by frame thing is not implemented...

for me, all these games are nostalgia. i used to play them when i was a child ^^ great moments, really.
of course you have to own the original cartridge though.
