    For all the love and devotion that users are expressing for Dan the Cow, is he actually giving anything in return? Is this cow worship benefitting anyone other than Dan the Cow?

    I think not, so I shall not be part of the idol worship which is Dan the Cow Day.

    I think the name goes back to the founder of Flashkit, Mark Fennel, who named him Dan. Had 'im on 'is desk when he was designing the forum.

    (I think - LanSite or one of the long-standing members'd know for sure)
