One hell of a question about a flashvotingsystem

Hi there fellaaaz,

Perhaps smbdy can help me. I'm trying to get myself a voting-system on my 100% Flashed website about my crazy little punkrockband. Fact is that it doesn't work at all. What I tried to do is adding a number to a textfield after one pushed the 'vote'-button, so that it counts up every new vote. This works. I'm happy. Problem is that I can't manage to get this number saved to an external file and directly make an update in the Flash-movie, so that the 'fresh' number is inserted into the textfield.

If you can help me, we're friends for life!

The site is not yet online by the way. The URL on which it will be published is http://www.fokschaap.nl. Keep an eye on it if you please, it's gonna be a great website. Promissed.

While it is written for ming, you should be able to add the same actions to a fla
requires php or cgi on the server
Note the poll reads a config file from the server to start with, so one week you can have 3 options to vote and another time probably four
There is no protection against multiple voting (other than that you have to reload the movie)
