    thanks ^^

    anyway:
mmmh, i'm also thinking about changing the colors of the character's clothes (in case two players are the same character). i already worked with the setTransform method (that way, when we fight during the night, the character's brightness is low).

    > my question is: is it possible to track in a specified MC a color (example: red) and change it to blue using AS? i tried setRGB, of course the entire character was differently colored. so, is there a way (i don't think so, but let's hope ^^)?
    ...anyone?

with the colors... not that I know of. what you could do is have the clothes/items to change colors, in a seperate mc. Wich is white. then use the set rgb method for each different color you want to use. Or have 2 frames in the different clothes color 1 on frame 1 and color 2 on frame 2. then when the character is selected make sure to goto the right frame.

Thats all I can think of, maybe someone else knows a better way.

not for a bitmap, nuggets way would work, you could have an vector mc covering the whole char and set its colour and alpha but that would probably look a bit poo

    Hi
I have a Dual processor G4. I don't think you understand what I mean. Yes 60 fps will be smoother than 30fps if the computer is running at optimum, but if the computer is not running the file at this optimum speed it will jerk and cause time lags. Surely 30fps is fast enough for action (film is 24fps/ cartoons 12-18) any more and you cannot guarantee the frame rate will be stable on every computer which is surely essential if it is going to be used on a wide audience.
BUT I DO LOVE THE GAME
