bachelors of fine arts concentration in painting.

planned to go to grad school 4 years out of college still havent made it to grad shool

and knee deep in student loans. the cost of education is high. how much are you willing to pay? i have to find fun, exciting, free things to do in my spare time. of course you still have to pay for the gas to get there.

begging to have actionscript at the college for Flash, may take up graphic design at night to help with my cheesy graphics.

if flash action isn't offered ill study it and see if i can teach it

I have a degree in Graphic Design from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. I'm currently taking courses at UC berkley, Experimental Photography and a Graduate Psychology Class.

My project is manly about studying the existing mathematical models that predict the flow patterns of the oceans (things like why you get strong currents like the Gulf Stream and Kuroshio along the western boudaries of the oceans) and to hopefully write a model to do some computer simulation.

I was doing a HND (Higher National Diploma) in Graphic Design at not the best of art colleges, then got poached by a design company who lured me away with the promise of ££££££. So I ditched the course, which would have let me onto a graphic design degree course halfway through, but had to move 50 miles. But I would rather be where I am now after 3 years as opposed to coming out of college with a degree and no real chance of a decent job which a lot of my friends are now faced with. Only 3 of us out of the original class of about 25ish have got employed in the design/web industry.

ouch! i feel your pain. the loan paying issue is what keeps me from going back to school. its probably just a lame excuse.

anyone have thoughts on the design/interactive media nad computer art programs at nyu. (grad level)?
