FK Board Shoe You spoony bard!
Does anyone remember "Hero" on the ATARI?
Does anyone know if there are any versions available on the web as flash? or other formats?

I remember this game!

It was one of the best for that system.
I don't know that any versions exist, but it seems like the type of game well suited to Flash or Shockwave...
You could always find an emulated version as well.

Guys, I still dont know what is the copyright issue when the question is Emulators and Old games. This is why I edit the above post. Allow me to do some research on that. untill then please do not post such links . Better safe then sorry. If I find that is ok to use emulators Ill restore the above link. Meanwhile let me ask you what are your thoughts about it and if you have any usefull info dealing wiht this kind of questions ?
Thanx for your understanding,
Mad_sci

Yeah look sorry Mad-Sci. I apologise, I shouldn't have put FK at risk like that. I assumed that because that game must be like nonexistent now there would be no copyright issue. But it is better to be safe then sorry and I thank you for removing the link. Once again I'm sorry bout that.
I think that there should be an expiry date on copyright, so when a game like hero, which has been around for ages, is superceeded by about 5 new console development stages, then it should be made freely available. I think maybe emulation software and the players should be made shareware and royalties should be paid to the respective title holders. just based on average system usage. But I think games that are over 15 years old should be made free.
