    Unhappy

I'm working on a new website for the place I work. Their current "website" was done by a total novice.

Here's the layout I've come up with and some unfinished content to show you what things will look like.

Be advised...none of the links are working yet. I only want feedback on the color scheme and layout. (So I know it is good enough to continue. )

    Thanks in advance!

Leave a link to your site check post and I'll review it for you..

Not too much to it. The colors are fine but there really isnt much to it. My 2 cents. Good luck with it.

    Hey clifgriffin,
Not meaning anything bad. Its just plain...a logo, some text and one graphic. Not much to the layout. Its just basic and for some clients thats fine. Theres just nothing that really stands out to me. My opinion...

Maybe if you make the buttons actual graphics instead of text. Maybe it would give it some depth. Im just saying for something to check there isnt anything really to check. Its clean lookin. About all I can comment on.
    Good luck with it,
    Peece,
    Mel

This is an other typical server side scripting page.
    Boring and absolutely no IDENTITY.

Try to explode some of the "table like" design. It is all too linear, too booring even. Like the output of a very simple template generator.
The colors are not equalized and the navigation nothing estonishing. The picture is .... ähhh ... not that cool.
Please give it some "Pep" or at least some professional touch.
Do anything crazy with this "design" before your visitors get a deep sleep while surving. The times, where an layout like this was interesting are long over.

ps: The rollover script has an (re)sizing error, the mainframe will resize itself, if you move the mouse over the upper link in the navigation frame. I think, this was not the sense.

    xjason,
just to let you know...this site has no scripting yet....I just made them aspx files so I'd have the flexibility to add code later.

    More suggestions please.

I have a weakness in the color department...have trouble finding good contrasting colors. Any reccomendations would be wonderful.

    Thanks in advance,
    Clif
