    XP Users, please check!

    Hi:

This is just a template I designed for a fictional company, but someone told me that it has a horizontal scroll on Windows XP. I know that you used to be able to get away with 782 px on the horizontal, but then I think MS added 2px to the scrollbar width, which left 780px. But someone said that it is only 778px on XP. I'm not brain surgeon, but I don't understand what the OS has to do with the browser version rendering a page.

So, could some XP users please check this page and tell me if there is a horizontal scrollbar appearing? If so, what is the size of the gap? 2px?

    [edit] That's at 800x600...sorry[/edit]
    Thanks,

    James

    Hi:

Thanks. I added the 800x600 bit later, so I hope you saw that before you posted. Anyway, I'm sure you're bright enough to figure that out, just apologizing for leaving it out. Thanks for checking.

I have no idea what this guy was talking about. It is the browser version, not the OS that should determine the screen.width. Go figure.

No need for anyone else to check.

LOL!!! Well, I made a second version, all blue, and cut him out anyway. So, you can rest easy tonight. I hope that you didn't suffer any permanent damage

    Thanks for checking.
