    Here's a Swift3D Chrome Effect Tutorial

There was a chrome mushroom posted on the erain boards recently and it sparked me to create a small tutorial on how to create a chrome effect with Swift3D. The tutorial has a link to the .t3d file and the Environment file that was used in the example. The .t3e file gets placed in the "C:\Program Files\Electric Rain\Swift 3D\Version 3.00\Environments\Gradients" directory if you installed using the default setup path and it will show up under your Gradients tab under the Environments in Swift3D.

nice tut rush. i like the gradient range. i usually just go black to white but obviously a subtle range yields a much more crisp result. and going by the number of posts about chrome materials i'm bettin it's a hit.

I think everybody likes the metallic textures. They are so smooth and shiny.

As for the gradients, I played around with lots of variations and while I have hardly explored all the possibilities, these settings seem to work pretty well.
