    Trading Spaces gay?

    I don't think so.

I know many allude to Trading Spaces as somehow feminine or homosexual, but for me as a web designer and all around art enthusiast....I find it inspiring.

I'm starting a movement that TS is not gay...but rather falsly accused so by insecure guys trying to impress other insecure guys.

It really gives you good desiging perspective...so what do you think?

    Disclaimer:
And no...this isn't a discussion on homosexuality and what your opinion is on it. I've tried to keep this fairly bias free..by only referring to what others call it..and not attaching stereotypes myself. This is a discussion on Trading Spaces...a show on The Learning Channel, so let's keep it at that shall we? Thanks.

    who cares?

I mean, if you want to redo your house, then do it.

if you want to tap the artistic side of yourself, then do it.

    I don't get your point.

I watch it on now ans again, but the target demographic is so obviously female, age 27 to 35 er so.

Three take control women, one good looking guy who is made into a baffoon by these three wonderful and light hearted females who take every opportunity to take a bet on whether the guy will screw up the cabinets he's building, or be late installing the desk or rubbermaid container turned ottoman that some flakey designer decided they must have.

Oh shoot... I think I'm talking about while you were out, or whatever the name of that other design a room show is.

    oh well...

hey, to displace the inherent gayness that surrounds my post in this thread... I just want the record to show that I have know idea what a "Fo Finish" is!!!

Are you so insecurein your sexuality that you need to declare something as "not gay" before you endorse it ? jeez some people have too muchythinking time on their hands.

Is that the programme where friends decorate other peoples houses ?

Having just got a place that I adore, I find myself going getting loads of paints, material, wood, canvses. and trying new stuff, I really like Murals.

Give me Inferviolet light. 2 liters of water, a clear plastic hose and a fish bowl pump. and oula a light sculptur.

I am building a light system also that will Color Tween the room every 10 mins. A blue set through the room, another set of green, infaviolet and anthor Violet. change a periods. the lights are hidden and low, mainly behind things.
I think it just good fun and the results are stunning.
I would like to do more. I dont think Im gay, but if any more cables get laid, I may be single.

    Cool Post sir !

Why are yo saying it's not gay? It wasn't implied nor did anyone say it was. It's just not my kind of show. My twin sister loves it though.

Yup, I have to agree with you here and really see no need for this thread... so it'll be closed
