envision ming as an alternative to flash .. you can build a movie, as you can in flash, and the movie can contain the same actionscripts that a flash movie would
On the other side envision ming as something that builds flash movies as ordered...
So you could well make a stock ticker that just reads a data source periodically but does itself never change, and you could also create some diagram and send it as a new movie whenever it is requested.
Obviously, with previous flash versions, many things could not be done (like drawing diagrams) that the current flash player will do.
