    Quick Question: Do Most ATX Cases have mounting holes for a micro atx board?

    Read the title.

    Also...are the back plates the same?

    yep all, as far as i know, atx cases have mounting holes for matx mobos.

    as for the backplates, it depends on your motherboard layout, luckily my new case had the exact same layout of ports as the mobo. if not, your mobo should come with its own plate.

    You're right.

    I tried it..worked fine.

    (btw..not my computer. I wouldn't use a matx by choice. )
